  The Taste Club: Wines for Summer Sipping

What do you drink during the long hot days of summer? Well, summer quaffers of course! Come explore the wines that pair beautifully with foods off the grill and from the “fridge”. You’ll start with a cool and refreshing Shrimp Salad paired with a Muscadet, Gavi and a Gruner Veltliner, Next you’ll move on to a platter of BBQ Chicken and Tangy Ribs accompanied by Salt and Herb Roasted Fingerling Potatoes, where we’ll taste some summer standout reds: a Beaujolais, Grenache, Tempranillo, Malbec and Zinfandel. Which of these wines provides the best pairing? There is no right or wrong answer - you’ll decide for yourselves! Wrapping up the evening you’ll add a bit of fizz to Mexican Bittersweet Chocolate Sundaes by tasting some great fun summer sparklers.

The Taste Club: South and South: The Wines of Southern France, Paired with Southern Food

Come taste the delicious wines from the south of France while we eat the delicious food of the American South! We’ll begin with a trio of the best of whites while we enjoy a starter of Chilled Tomato Soup with Shrimp and delicious Cheese Biscuits. A quartet of perfect southern reds will compliment Grilled Pork Chops with a Fresh Peach Glaze served on a bed of Green Rice. We’ll finish the night with an irresistible ice cream topped Peach and Berry Crisp

The Taste Club: Syrah, Shiraz, No Matter How You Say It, It’s Delicious
Come join Chef Nancy Waldeck as she shares one of her favorite wines, Shiraz. You’ll learn all about this big red wine - used in wines from Chateau Neuf de Pape to Australia's Barossa Valley. We’ll start with a trio of California charmers paired with Individual Cheddar and Broccoli Gratins, and then enjoy Peach and Paprika Lamp Chops and Citrus Saffron Rice with a quartet of French charmers. Class will end as we head "down under" for a couple of Shiraz wines, the perfect pairing with a Decadent Chocolate Almond Cheesecake.

Cooking with Wine: Italian Holiday Partial Hands On

Grab your apron and your recipes while we get in the kitchen together to prepare a delicious meal – we’ll cook with wine in the food, and then pair each dish with the perfect wine to bring out all of the character and flavor. We’ll start with a quick and delicious Antipasto followed by a Sundried Tomato Caesar Salad made with Gavi. Our main course will be Braciole with Basil in Tomato Sauce and Fontina Polenta with a hearty Chianti. We’ll end by cooking and toasting with a fun and fizzy Prosecco served with an Italian Cream Layer Cake for dessert.
